Ross brings with him an extensive international experience in Australia, USA and the UK. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991 and after working in Australia for three years, he travelled to the UK and worked as a locum in mixed practices in Wales, Scotland and England. After completing a residency at Glasgow Veterinary School he was awarded the ECVS diploma in small animal surgery in 2004.
Since then, his work has taken him all over the globe, including positions as staff surgeon at the Animal Health Trust, lecturer in soft tissue surgery at the University of Glasgow and the University of Melbourne, as well as working as a surgeon at Fifth Avenue Vet Specialists in Manhattan. He joined Cave Veterinary Specialists in Somerset in September 2011 where he led the surgery team until the end of 2020. He has a particular interest in surgical oncology.
